Round one, a gruelling task in the making for the Czechmates club. Ministry, With one of the best GM's in the league coaching his band of brothers, will ensure this will not be a nice afair. These two teams have had it in for each other all season long. There is no love lost here, and in most game nights between these two, there are more gloves on the ice then hats.

Czechmates management have been under fire. With the bank account at the -2+ Million dollar amount, the owner has comes to terms that a bank loan from the CNFHL will be required in order to ensure a prosperous season and future.

The club is looking for the amount of $8 Million.

The break down for the loan would be as follows:
1. Club ticket price increase of $4 to get to $50 per ticket = $2 Million
2. A 500 seat increase = $2 Million
3. $2,051,993 for over costs.
4. Remainder to ensure stability for this and the following season.

The Surrey Czechmates were suprised to hear from GM Jess of the Ministry club that an email has gone out to potential GM's for an up and coming season. The GM of the Czechmates would gladly bring forth another season with the boyz. Count me in.

It's gut check time in Surrey as the Czechmates face elimination in the first round of the playoffs. Home ice advantage has been key in this series, as each team has won when playing at home. Advantage Mates..... I think not. The Ice has a handful of capable goal scorers, and if the Mates are to win the next game, they MUST, shut down the offensive threat.

It was another night the Mates would have to dig deep and find themselves. With a 7-3 loss in game one, could they muster enough tonight to make this a game. Injured captain, J.Stacer, along with #2 centerman J.Akick were still watching from the press box, while #1 RW'r J.Krakofsky proceeded back to Surrey in hopes to get back into this series for game 4.

As the critics thought, and fans at home knew, this would be a tough series. Even tougher as the team goes without it's top 3 players into game one of the series. After a laser filled stadium show for the Ice introduction.... the Mates stepped onto the ice and it was game on.

The Surrey Czechmates GM was suprised to see the playoff matchups today, with NO, recovery for injured players. Considering 2 star players were due to be back in a week, they still sit sidelined after about 6 game days of action without them. Star RW'r, J.Krakofsky was also sidelined the last game of the season with a week long injury and two games later...... NO change in his status, still sitting with the same IN rating after two games played by the Mates. So, the Mates will be without 3 of there most influential players starting the playoffs. How can this be?
