The Canadian National Fantasy Hockey League

The Clones made several changes during the off season bringing in some new faces to the team with the likes of, Toth, Healy, Szopiak, Chantrand. The Clones started off pretty good, but around 20 games in, the team has been struggling to find chemistry, losing 2 or 3 at time with a win here and there. The coach and G.M. are worried if things don't change they will have to change things themselves.

On a side note :)
1) how does the lowest scoring team have a playoff spot :) lol
2) what about a team that losing money even after its upgrades lol

Breaking News!!! The Clones have named a new franchise player, G. Hardstaff. The team would like for him to finish his career with The Clones. This fills one of the many holes that they will have during the free-agency period which The Cones look to be big buyers.

After returning from an exciting trip to Las Vegas and a road trip to visit Lada Sr. (Post to Come), GM Lada has come back a new man and a married man. So all things should be good in the world... UNTIL.... a faxed note to the Mates office is the first thing the GM see's. Paragraph states.... The Czechmates roster has not been finalized. The team currently sits 4 players from a full league rule roster limit. Closed door meeting at 12:00.

There were fisticuffs.... but not on the ice. After the Surrey Czechmates announced a 1000 standing room tickets would go on sale for game 6 between the Czechmates and the Clones, fans flocked to ticketmaster in hordes.
Constable Larshide " We had to call in the dog teams... unbelievable... there were minnie brawls going on... people getting there tickets robbed from them after there purchase as they went back to there cars... unbelievable."

After a dismall game 2 which saw the Clones out hussle and out work the Mates; the game headed now to the home of the Mates. GM Lada had the coach go through some routines during the early morning skate, and them Mates were treated lunch while they watched and discussed what happened in game 2. Now it's go time again.... Mates fans cheering as the club made its way to the ice surface. " GO MATES... WAY TO BE MATES... MATES MATES MATES....". The anthem echoed throughout the stadium as almost every fan would join in.... teams would meet at center ice. Recap as follows:

It was clear to say, the Czechmates were due for a big loss, and tonight the Clones firepower was to much. Mates goaltender, X.Labelle who left yesterdays game with an injury, was chased out of the net today during the second period. Fans weren't just treated to a win, but each patron would get a free beer before the game started in lieu of yesterdays loss. Recap as follows:

It would be another test as the Mates players stepped on to the ice... Clones fans hissed and jeered at Mates players... some hitting the glass boards with their fist as Mates players skated by. How would the Mates start this game was the question... would it be hard nosed, as they were accustomed too, or would they go toe to toe with the Clones as they did against the Horsemen.
