Montreal was the best team in the CNFHL this year but seven playoff games later they are asking what when wrong? The team just could not connect enough positive minutes and when they needed a save it just didn’t happen. The team exceeded every expectation this season and the future looks bright but at the moment players, coaches and fans are all left disappointed.

Montreal head coach Mark Vandzura had little to say after the game except he was proud of his club. “This is a team that was basically rebuilt in the matter of 1 season and thanks to the brilliance of our in-term GM we not only made the playoffs but won the regular season title. Give credit to the Chevalier, there goaltender was outstanding and just out played ours.”

Montreal has a number of high profile UFA’s and RFA’s this off season. The team as you know it may look very different after the summer.
