Black and White makes Grey, like...Mice !

from your reporter Harrie Vermeegen
An early first round victory over the Black and White boys, has enabled the Mice to take a short rest during the play offs. Five spectaculair games proved that a mix up of Black and White makes Grey. Grey is the color of Mice and thus it was not surprising to see the Maple Ridge team walk away with the first round victory...

Game 1 and 3 where walk overs as the Mice sent back their originating colors by 5-1 and 6-1. The Mice have tested star goalie Mccambridge to the border and it paid off for them in the best way. Being outshot only in game 2, which logically went to B&W, GM Smolders is more than happy about this first round PO performance of his squad. "Yes we kind of frightened the team of Nicolae as our regular season results have not been too good versus B&W, as far as I can remember. Moreover it is my first PO appearance here in the CNFHL and did not know exactly what to expect. I am very happy we were able to pull the trigger last night in our own arena. This ensures us of at least one night extra rest and with still 5 series going on we more or less expect a second day of rest."

So this series is set and Maple Ridge ensured a second round appearance. Who's next? We'll know in a couple of nights, for now it's not that Black and White yet...it remains GREY...!
