The Calgary Wolf Pac are proving that having depth in the farm is a necessity. Losing star Dman Andre Bino to suspension during the critical stretch drive to the playoffs could have spelled disaster for a franchise that has struggled compared to last season. "We were first in the conference and our division last year," GM Reynolds stated," This year we re-tooled, had two coaching changes and at some points looked like we may not even make the playoffs. Call ups Paul Relkey and Brian Arthur have filled in at critical times during the season, including now." The Wolf Pac have gone 4-1-2 in the last seven games and have shut out the powerhouse Ministry during that stretch. Tonights game vs the Black and White will prove to be a challenge. Calgary has struggled this year vs the vastly improved Edmonton team, and the game has the promise to be either a fight filled slugfest or a high flying game. In the last ten games, the Wolf Pac play the Black and White twice more and the Horsemen three more times. The former they have struggled against, the latter they have dominated. This final push should make for some interesting hockey and the Calgary faithfull are lining up for tickets to the last 5 home games of the season.
